Esther Jimenez is a Clinical Psychologist from Spain who works mostly with teenagers and adults, by applying the knowledge and her creativity to help she tailor the treatments and lectures to help people grow and reach their potential in a personal and professional level.
Esther knows that learning and growth go hand –in-hand with our emotions. In addition, every individual has a unique story and needs ,as are their solutions to feel better. Therefore she believes that the key aspect of her job is to get people to resonate with the material so they can make it their own and apply it to their daily life.
The fact that every person and moment is different is what makes her more passionate about her profession. She believes that it is a constant adventure to guide people through their creative process towards welfare.
Esther has worked at several psychology clinics in Spain. After moving to North Cyprus she combines her private practice as a psychologist with a teaching position at GAU. She also offers group workshops oriented to personal growth and well-being, teaching children, parents and adults how to practice mindfulness, manage their emotions and how to improve interpersonal skills among other topics.
She believes in the body-mind dualism and her workshops and treatments not only focus in creating awareness of the mind but also how this is related with our body, movement and role playing are a fundamental ingredient in her work.
Esther is a certified member of the European Institute of Time-Limited Therapy. She is also certified as a General Health Psychologist and as a Clinical Psychologist.
Esther holds a BSc in Psychology from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and an MA in Clinical Psychology from the same university. She also holds an MA in Time-Limited Psychotherapy from the European Institute of Time-Limited Therapy.
Esther works including a variety of psychological approaches and treatments to ensure each person receives a tailored treatment that will be the most effective for their unique situation.
Esther is a curious person, a collector of experiences, the newest, scuba diving. She loves travelling, art, yoga and animals.
