Poster Presentation Guidelines

If accepted, authors are expected to conform to the following guidelines for poster presentation:

  • The Poster should be in English
  • Maximum pertinent information should be provided in the poster. The poster should include:
  • A title which much be identical to the title in your abstract. Abbreviations should be avoided in the title. Choose a large font size for the poster's title, author and company; not less than 72 points
  • The Author/s and Institutional Affiliations
  • Introduction
  • Objective of the study
  • Methods used, if applicable
  • Results or Preliminary findings if applicable
  • Conclusions reached and recommendations made
  • References: Reference only the most important articles related to the work and methods used (A smaller font should be used)
  • Contact details: E-mail address of corresponding author, website, phone number etc
  • The standard size of each poster should be 841mm by 1189mm
  • The font for the poster must be one that is clearly visible hence it shouldn't be smaller than 16 point. Use a constant font throughout the poster and be sure that your poster emphasizes important points, stimulates interest and can be easily read from a distance of 1 or 2 meters.
  • Important parts of the text may be highlighted using different colors. To make your important points stand out and to ensure legibility use colors that are easily readable.
  • Simplicity is key, use simple and clear words.
  • Feel free to use pictorial or graphic illustrations to enhance and clarify your message (Tables and figures should cover 50% of the poster area)
  • The Author must be present at the congress to interact with or answer questions that delegates may have.
  • Please note that the notification of acceptance by the Scientific committee will be sent via E-mail to the presenting author.
  • Detailed information, recommendation and guidelines for the oral or poster presentation as well as the date, time allotted, and venue will be duly sent out to the registered presenting authors.
